An amazing tutor! Julie really helped with my A-level English; how to structure essays, write concisely and clearly and always relate back to the question asked. She also broke down certain concepts and themes in coursework assignments, explaining their significance, in addition to excellent exam training and support. Julie was absolutely amazing with my son.  He was diagnosed with dyslexia just a few months before sitting his GCSEs.  He was never a very big reader but Julie was so encouraging and her careful tutoring helped him grow in confidence.  After much hard work from both Julie and my son, he was ecstatic to pass not only his English Language but also English Literature as well!  He has now gone on to excel in his chosen career which he would never have been able to do if he hadn't got those results and we will be forever grateful.  Cannot recommend highly enough. I worked with Julie for a number of years, and saw 1st hand what an excellent tutor she was for her English GCSE students.

She is highly experienced and has a wealth of knowledge and know how, which she uses brilliantly to teach and  progress her students to success.

She taught a range of students in age, ability, backgrounds and with neurodiversity, and adapted herself and her lessons to suit everyone so well. She is kind and compassionate and ultimately wants to you to achieve the best outcome possible.

As somebody who saw her classes in the workplace, I can vouch for this and can confidently say she has excellent pass rates for the GCSE exams year on year, which is testament to her skills and abilities as a tutor.
